Job summary

Greystar’s Data, Digital, and AI (D²AI) team seeks an Analytics Engineering Intern to tackle a scoped project from start to finish, gaining hands‑on experience with modern analytics tools, AI-assisted development, and real‑world data.

You’ll partner with business teams, build data models, validate findings, and present outcomes to leadership. Expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028, with exposure to SQL, Python, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Experience with SQL and Python through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Interest in using AI tools to support technical and analytical work.
• Strong communication, curiosity, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to understand their goals and data needs.
• Build and validate data models using SQL, Python, and Databricks.
• Use AI coding assistants as part of your day-to-day workflow.
• Analyze data, identify quality issues, and develop practical solutions.
• Test, document, and improve your work based on feedback.
• Present your final project and recommendations to business and Decision Intelligence leaders.
