Job summary

The Boeing Company in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an Associate Fuel Systems Repair and Modification Technician to join our Executive Fleet team. You will perform detailed inspections, repairs and modifications on aircraft fuel systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience with fuel systems and blueprints, and can work variable shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as Fuel Systems Technician/Mechanic.
4+ years working with blueprints, specifications, drawings and SOPs.
Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods.
Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed inspections and repairs on aircraft fuel systems, including Engine Feed, Fuel Transfer, Fuel Indicating, Fuel Dump/Vent and Refuel/Defuel systems.
Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, modify and replace fuel components and systems and perform operational checks.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, technical orders and regulatory requirements.
Maintain necessary certifications, licenses and permits as required.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve fuel system reliability and performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and fuel system status.
Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and tools to check dimensions and conformance.
Support aircraft readiness and mission requirements by ensuring fuel systems are fully operational.
Assist other teams to meet cost and schedule targets.
