Job summary

Candidates should have 10+ years of experience with non-porous metals, schematics, and heavy aircraft structures, and be able to work variable shifts including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience with non-porous metals (aluminum, titanium, stainless).
• 10+ years experience with schematics, drawings and SOPs.
• 10+ years experience using structures hand tools (drills, adapters, rivet guns).
• 10+ years experience with heavy structures in aircraft modifications/repairs.
• Ability to work variable shifts (overtime, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical structures.
• Locate blind holes for installation of structural items.
• Seal, paint, shim and preserve structures per repair processes.
• Read and interpret drawings, orders, specs for modifications and repairs.
• Use fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts.
• Knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and replacement.
• Determine functionality of basic electrical systems.
• Access aircraft data and initiate parts/ discrepancy requests.
• Maintain necessary certifications and licenses.
• Ascend/descend ladders; work in confined spaces; lift ~35 lbs.
• Ensure safe working environment via Lock Out/Tag systems.
