Job summary

Calista and Subsidiaries seeks an Aircraft Fuel System Technician to remove, repair, inspect, install and modify fuel systems on fixed-wing aircraft. You will maintain tanks, cells and related hardware while following QA processes.

The role requires 8+ years of fuel maintenance experience, DoD contract experience, and the ability to train others. You will work on-site in a regulated environment, ensuring safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of aircraft fuels maintenance experience on fixed-wing aircraft.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; DoD 2A6X4 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on aircraft fuel systems removal, repair and installation per procedures.
• Diagnose malfunctions using technical orders and analytic techniques and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain fuel tanks and cells, inspect for foreign objects, corrosion and cell deterioration.
• Document maintenance actions, QA compliance, and equipment records.
• Operate and train others in diagnostic devices, computers, and hand/mechanical tools.
• Conduct FOD walks and ensure safety and tool control procedures.
