Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an Associate Actuary or Senior Actuarial Analyst to join the Underwriting General Liability Pricing team in Schaumburg, IL. The role supports liability pricing with responsibilities spanning pricing analysis, tool governance, and collaboration across actuarial, IT, and product management groups.

Eligible candidates may hold ACAS or FCAS prospects and will have 5+ actuarial exams with related experience, or a bachelor’s degree and exams with several years in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; actuarial exams progress for FCAS/ACAS consideration.
• ACAS or equivalent certification required for Associate Actuary.
• Experience with pricing, reserving, and capital management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed pricing analysis including rates, rating plans, and portfolio management strategies.
• Support input to actuarial, statistical, and IT functions for pricing tools across platforms.
• Lead support for pricing tools and monitoring through governance frameworks.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain pricing governance and rate filings as needed.
• Communicate technical results clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
