Job summary

Kautex, a Textron subsidiary, is seeking an Associate Accounting professional in Indiana to manage billings, A/P/A/R activities, and fixed asset accounting. You will support month-end close, consolidations, and GL reconciliations while ensuring policy compliance. A background in manufacturing accounting and SAP experience is required.

The role offers full-time employment with a climate-conscious, process-driven environment at our Indinana facility in Avilla.

Qualifications

• BS degree in accounting, business, finance or economics.
• Experience with SAP R/3 and transition to SAP Hana is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Hyperion reporting.
• 1–2 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Process billings and accounts payable/receivable including bad debts.
• Set up manual invoices for various services as needed.
• Perform fixed asset accounting for the entity.
• Assist month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing activities.
• Assist in monthly consolidations and GL reconciliations.
• Handle payroll processing duties.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.

Associate Accounting

What awaits you:

• Process billings for Kautex Inc.
• Processing and investigating A/P and A/R including bad debts
• Set up manual invoices (tools, development services, protoyptes, etc.) as needed
• Perform fixed asset accounting for Kautex, Inc.
• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist in the monthly consolidations for Kautex, Inc.
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
• Select payroll processing duties
• Ensure compliance with Textron and Kautex policies and procedures

Qualifications

What you'll need to succeed:

• BS degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Business
• SAP R/3 experience is essential; we'll be transitioning to SAP Hana
• Microsoft Office fluency - especially Excel
• Experience with Hyperion financial reporting
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in accounting or finance role; preferably in manufacturing industry
