Job summary

Landscape Workshop (LW) is seeking an Associate Account Manager to train for future Account Manager roles. This leadership development position will involve hands-on field work, crew leadership, and exposure to landscape operations and client service.

You will train through a structured program, work with experienced leaders, and advance toward branch leadership opportunities while supporting maintenance and enhancement projects across the Southeast.

Qualifications

• A two or four year degree in a relevant field.
• At least one internship in the landscape industry OR equivalent industry work experience.
• Knowledge of machinery and trucks used in delivering our services.
• Ability to design small landscape projects.
• Experience with computer operation; ability to learn Aspire quickly.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, in English.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record over the last three years.
• Ability to pass required Department of Transportation physical.
• Good physical condition; mental ability to supervise, perform manual labor and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on properties including operating equipment, mowing, edging, pruning, weed eating with crews to meet work and scheduling demand.
• Plant and install flower beds and pots including soil prep, mulch, planting and watering.
• Lead your crew by enforcing safety regulations at the job site and coordinating transport of crew, equipment, and materials.
• Communicate regularly with the Account Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment including cleaning, blade/oil changes, and greasing.
• Handle physically demanding tasks and operate hand and power tools safely.
• Participate in the Associate Account Manager Training Program covering leadership, safety, and operations.
• Attend Account Management Training class within the first 7 months (5 days, Birmingham, AL).
• Be an example of company values and participate in weekly branch meetings.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned by branch leadership.
