Position Overview

The Associate Account Executive, Government position focuses on the customer lifecycle, supporting the growth of State and Local Government within an assigned territory. You will be responsible for expanding our presence in the State and Local market, managing contract renewal strategies, delivering excellent customer experiences, and increasing revenue and retention rates.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Activities: Generate new business within existing and target accounts, exceed sales goals, negotiate agreements, and own contract negotiations.
  2. Customer Engagement: Maintain high levels of in-person customer meetings, build deep client relationships, and understand client needs to offer tailored solutions.
  3. Solution Selling: Sell the full portfolio of T-Mobile solutions, engaging clients in deep conversations to address pain points and create win-win scenarios.
  4. Account Management: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a strong customer lifecycle, maximize revenue, and foster loyalty.
  5. Reporting and Presentation: Use Salesforce and other systems for reporting, forecasting, and engaging in customer presentations.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments to meet business objectives.
  7. Training and Development: Complete ongoing training to stay knowledgeable about products and sales strategies.
  8. Performance Metrics: Achieve sales and productivity goals, demonstrate professional conduct, and handle credits and adjustments appropriately.
  9. Additional Duties: Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in wireless or technology sales, with 2+ years in the public sector.
  • Strong presentation, strategic selling, interpersonal skills, and technical proficiency.
  • Ability to develop deep client relationships, manage territory effectively, and work collaboratively with internal teams.
  • At least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Information

Travel required. This is not a DOT regulated or safety-sensitive position.

Compensation includes a target cash pay range of $110,800 - $200,000, with base pay from $66,480 - $120,000, depending on factors like location and experience. Sales incentives are available for regular roles.
