Job summary

Hawkins Ash CPAs is seeking a candidate to join our collaborative Wisconsin-based firm. You will work on audit, review, and compilation engagements while preparing tax returns and financial statements for diverse clients.

The ideal hire has an accounting degree with CPA eligibility (0–3 years) and strong communication and multi-tasking skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CPA eligibility (0-3 years)
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Exceptional communication and multi-tasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work extended hours as necessary

Responsibilities

• Work on audit, review, and compilation engagements
• Prepare tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and not-for-profits
• Prepare financial statements
• Electronically submit governmental audit-related information
• Provide basic accounting, bookkeeping, and operational support to clients
• Respond to Firm and client requests
• Assist with various projects and duties as assigned
