Job summary

Hawkins Ash CPAs in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Tax Supervisor to lead client engagements and deliver sophisticated tax planning. This role is based in our Green Bay office and involves mentoring staff and collaborating with advisory teams.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of tax experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and CPA preferred. Strong communication and the ability to work extended hours are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Four to six years of similar experience.
• Exceptional communication and strong multi-tasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and accounting software packages.
• Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
• Local travel to/from engagements, including overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage client engagements from start to finish; including projecting, planning, supervising, directing and completing tax projects.
• Review individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns in accordance with firm and professional standards.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Attend networking and continuing professional education seminars.
• Assist with initiatives of various firm committees.
