The Montefiore Associate Administrative Nurse Manager (AANM) maintains standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing’s Social Policy Statement.

Responsible for the day to day operations of a specialized nursing unit(s) in collaboration with the Administrative Nurse Manager (ANM)

The AANM directs and coordinates patient and unit activities in an environment that supports excellence, ensuring the continual delivery of quality patient care, in compliance with MMC policies and standards. Assists the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of select group of patients; participants in educational activities related to the clinical specialty; participants in clinical research studies.
