Job summary

Envision Dallas is seeking a Training Instructor to oversee the educational training of students for TWC, VA, private pay clients, and staff. You will align with TWC and VA curricula to assess, train, and report on student progress while ensuring compliance with Envision Dallas policies.

The role emphasizes strong teaching ability, communication, organization, and commitment to educational excellence within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; a degree in education is preferred or certificated in a specialized subject with an education certificate.
• Proven experience as a teacher.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and committed; creative and energetic.
• Familiar with Envision Dallas policies and procedures; willingness to follow guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training of students for the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), the VA, private pay clients, and Envision Dallas employees.
• Follow TWC and VA guidelines and curriculum; assess, train, and report student progress.
• Teach a course load appropriate to the field; plan and organize instruction to maximize learning.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records; communicate progress to Rehabilitation Services Manager and payors.
