Vancrest Healthcare Centers is seeking an exceptional Assisted Living Nurse (RN or LPN) to deliver personalized care for residents, prioritizing comfort and quality of life. You will participate in nursing processes, provide direct care, and support families and staff.

The role emphasizes leadership support, ongoing professional development, and adherence to government regulations within a dynamic facility environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in nursing preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the nursing process, and implements a resident plan of care.
• Performs direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assists in assessments and evaluations.
• Delegates components of care to nursing assistants and provides guidance when needed.
• Assists in resident and family health teaching and rehabilitation.
• Validates data with the RN; records and reports pertinent information for families and staff.
• Recognizes and reports safety hazards.
• May lead a team under the direction of an RN.
• Identifies and evaluates resident responses to health problems and treatments.
• Communicates resident care needs to other staff.
• Pursues professional growth through conferences and trainings; participates in staff meetings and QA programs.
• Interprets facility philosophy and nursing service objectives to residents and staff.
• Other duties upon request.

Assisted Living Nurse
Staff Nurse - RN or LPN
Vancrest Healthcare Centers is looking for an exceptional nurse to deliver on our mission of providing personalized care in our facility where residents' comfort and quality of life always come first.
The Job Responsibilities Include

• Contributes to the nursing process, and implements a resident plan of care.
• Performs direct nursing services such as administering treatments and to assist in assessments and evaluation; assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegates suitable components of care to nursing assistants; provides guidance and supervision when necessary.
• Assists in resident and family health teaching and rehabilitation.
• Consults and validates data with the RN; records and reports pertinent information; provides explanations to families and other staff.
• Recognizes and reports safety hazards.
• May assume team leader duties when assigned under the direction of an RN.
• Identifies and evaluates the resident’s response to health problems and treatments.
• Communicates resident care needs and approach to other personnel involved in care.
• Assumes responsibility for own professional growth and development; plans and/or participates in conferences and classes to improve knowledge and practice resident care; attends in-service programs and monthly staff meetings that are provided to facilitate compliance with government regulations. Participates in the nursing service quality assurance program.
• Interprets philosophy and objectives of the facility and the nursing service to residents, families, and other employees when necessary.
• Other duties upon request.
