Assisted Living Regulatory Compliance Coordinator

Braintree, Massachusetts

At Senior Living Residences (SLR), we believe compliance is about more than meeting regulatory requirements ; it's about creating systems that support exceptional resident care, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. As one of New England's most respected assisted living and memory support organizations, SLR manages communities across multiple states and has been recognized as one of The Boston Globe's Top Places to Work .

We're looking for a highly organized, curious, and motivated professional to join our Home Office Compliance Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a career in compliance, quality improvement, or risk management while working directly with senior leadership on meaningful organizational initiatives.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As the Compliance Coordinator, you'll work directly with the Director of Compliance & Personnel Management to help support the operational and regulatory compliance program for our assisted living and memory support communities. This isn't a traditional administrative or receptionist role. Instead, you'll serve as the organizational backbone of our compliance program by helping coordinate regulatory initiatives, supporting community operations, improving internal systems, monitoring compliance activities, and ensuring important projects stay organized and on track.

No two days are exactly alike. One day you may be preparing documentation for a licensing renewal or organizing materials for a state survey. The next, you could be helping coordinate a quality improvement audit, researching new regulatory requirements, tracking OSHA or HIPAA initiatives, supporting Workers' Compensation administration, or creating dashboards that help leadership monitor organizational compliance.

If you enjoy bringing order to complexity, building systems, solving problems, and improving organizational processes, you'll thrive in this role. In addition to competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits beginning on your first day of employment, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced leaders while gaining exposure to Assisted living regulations , q uality improvement and r isk management . If you're looking for a position where you can grow professionally while making a meaningful impact behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.

WHAT WILL YOU BE WORKING ON?

You'll partner with the Home Office team and our communities on projects such as:

  • Regulatory licensing and survey readiness
  • Assisted living regulatory compliance across multiple states
  • HIPAA Privacy & Security initiatives
  • OSHA and Workers' Compensation administration
  • Quality Improvement & Risk Management (QIRM)
  • Community audits and operational reviews
  • Government programs including Medicaid
  • Vendor compliance and insurance tracking
  • Policy management and compliance documentation
  • Compliance dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools
  • Process improvement and special projects that strengthen organizational compliance
WHAT SUCCESS WILL LOOK LIKE:

Successful candidates are naturally organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy managing multiple projects at once. You enjoy solving problems, creating structure, improving workflows, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You're comfortable working independently, communicating with leaders throughout the organization, and balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Compliance, Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field preferred
  • Three (3) years of experience in healthcare administration, compliance, operations, project coordination, quality improvement, risk management, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working in a regulated healthcare or senior living environment strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong technology skills with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and the ability to quickly learn company systems
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment while handling confidential information
  • Willingness to travel to communities as business needs require
