Job summary

Osage Nation Health Center seeks an Assisted Living Intake Specialist to coordinate intake, referrals, assessments, and admissions for prospective residents. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in healthcare, patient registration, admissions, intake coordination, or related field.
• Associate degree preferred in healthcare/business administration or related field.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and other coverage.
• Able to pass criminal background and drug testing.

The Assisted Living Intake Specialist is responsible for coordinating the intake, referral, assessment, and admission process for prospective residents at the Osage Nation Health System Assisted Living Facility. This position serves as a primary point of contact for prospective residents, family members, healthcare providers, hospitals, and community agencies.The Intake Specialist ensures that all admissions are handled in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner while maintaining accurate documentation and verifying that prospective residents meet applicable admission criteria and facility requirements.
