Job summary

Agency for Health Care Administration seeks a self-motivated OPS Health Services and Facilities Consultant for the Assisted Living Unit. You will review licensure applications, provide guidance to providers, and manage documentation and correspondence related to ALF and ADCC programs.

The role emphasizes regulatory knowledge, collaboration with field staff, and timely processing of applications. Strong analytical and written communication skills are essential.

• Knowledge of program planning, development and evaluation methodologies.
• Knowledge of health and human services delivery systems.
• Ability to analyze data, make recommendations and complete assignments timely.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team.
• Knowledge of health facilities, operations and management principles.
• Ability to apply statutes, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ability to determine work priorities and ensure completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Review applications for licensure requirements within timeframes for ALF and ADCC facilities.
• Provide information and technical assistance to providers and applicants.
• Enter provider data into VERSA and scan documents into Laserfiche.
• Analyze and process renewal, initial, change of ownership and bed/capacity changes.
• Prepare letters and notices related to ALF and ADCC programs.
• Maintain relationships with field staff and agency attorneys.
• Work with teams to ensure timely and accurate information is available.
• Represent the Agency at meetings, conferences, and hearings.
• Perform special assignments and other duties as needed.
