Job summary

Green Hills is actively seeking a hospitality-minded Resident Aide to join our growing team. You will assist with personal care, document nursing care, and administer medications under RN/LPN delegation, while following safety protocols and maintaining resident confidentiality.

Responsibilities include ADLs, nutrition support, and accurate charting to ensure seamless care for residents. A CNA license and Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry are required, with a Medication Manager course to be

Qualifications

• Must be CNA-licensed and in good standing.
• Direct Care Worker Registry registration required in Iowa.
• Medications must be administered under RN/LPN supervision.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Ability to complete Medication Manager course within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility.
• Administer medications under the delegation of RN/LPN and document accordingly.
• Follow safety procedures and report changes in resident condition to RN/LPN.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide respectful care to each resident.
• Assist with nutrition, hydration and dining support as needed.

Shifts Available: Please indicate in the prescreening questions whether you are seeking full-time or part-time employment and which shift(s) you are available to work. All positions will work every other weekend.

DAYS: 6:00AM - 2:00PM
EVENINGS: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
OVERNIGHTS: This position does not have overnight shifts available.

Starting Wage:$19.00/hr. Additional compensation for experience.

Green Hills is actively looking for a hospitality-minded Resident Aide, to join our growing team! Resident Aides assist with the personal care of tenants/residents and administration of medications under the delegation of a registered nurse; provides care as assigned by the charge nurse and does appropriate documentation on each tenant/resident to create a flow of continuing care; follows safety procedures and keeps the charge nurse informed of all relevant resident information through close observation.

• Assist residents with nutrition and hydration, monitoring food and fluid intake as well as physically assisting with dining as needed.
• Ensure resident rooms are kept clean and organized.

CNAs working in Assisted Living, are referred to as Resident Aides. They assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and medication management. They also provide assistance with laundry, housekeeping, and more.
