Green Hills is seeking a hospitality-minded Charge Nurse to supervise direct resident care on a specified shift. The role serves as senior on-site in the absence of leadership and requires RN licensure and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise Health Care Center staff and participate as needed to provide care for residents.
• Ensure proper and timely care in response to emergencies.
• Assess health and mental status through rounds during the shift.
• Electronically document nursing care, medications, and incidents.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and transportation to meet resident needs.

Job Classification: PRN, required to work 24 hours/month with at least 12 hours on a weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)

Starting Wage:$40.00 - $49.00/hour, additional compensation for each year of experience and completing two training phases ($1/hour each phase)

Shifts Available: 7:00AM-7:00PM or 7:00PM to 7:00AM

Shift Differential: $5.00/hour shift differential when working 7:00PM-7:00AM

The Charge Nurse is responsible for the provision and supervision of direct resident care on a specified shift. Serves as senior employee on-site in the absence of the Administrator and Director of Nursing.

• Supervise Health Care Center staff and participate as needed to provide care for residents in accordance with community standards of care.
• Be responsible for the proper and timely provision of care in response to the townhome/apartment emergency system.
• Assess the health and mental status for each resident during the shift by making rounds in accordance with community standards.
• Electronically document nursing care, medication administration, incident reports, and more.
• Maintain communication with other operating departments and personnel to ensure resident needs are addressed in a timely fashion, including housekeeping, maintenance, transportation, and more.
