Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Gaithersburg, MD seeks a seasoned staffing leader to oversee recruitment, hiring, and development of caregiving staff within our assisted living operations.

You will manage staffing, scheduling, and daily facility operations, ensure resident-centered care via individualized plans, partner with clinical teams on assessments, and drive regulatory compliance and performance coaching across the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare.
• At least 1+ year supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong staffing, scheduling, and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of resident care practices and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and care systems.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to support operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, hiring, and development of caregiving staff.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily operations of the assisted living environment.
• Ensure delivery of resident-centered care and execute individualized service plans (ISPs).
• Partner with clinical teams on assessments and care planning.
• Monitor resident health changes and communicate updates to families.
• Collaborate with activities and dining teams to enhance resident experience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Manage team performance, engagement, coaching, and evaluations.
• Support departmental budget, labor management, and operational efficiency.
