Job summary

Carleton College seeks an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach in the PEAR department to support a competitive NCAA Division III program. The role includes assisting in practices, travel planning, game preparation, and recruitment while upholding college values and NCAA/MIAC regulations.

Some evenings and weekends required; schedule spans September through March. Requires a BA/BS and 1–2 years of collegiate-level coaching or playing experience, plus strong interpersonal and organizational skills,

Qualifications

BA or BS degree required.
1-2 years coaching or playing at the collegiate level.
Commitment to student-athlete success and a passion for the sport.
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Coach in planning and preparation of team training, travel, practices, recruiting, and teaching student-athletes.
Participate in recruitment efforts to attract and matriculate student-athletes.
Attend meetings with head coach and staff.
Complete required training and engage in professional development opportunities.
Comply with NCAA DIII, MIAC, Carleton College policies, rules and regulations.
