Job summary
The Waterford at Round Rock, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks an Assistant Wellness Director to lead nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee staffing to deliver compassionate care in an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting. Requirements include a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, two years of nursing experience in senior living, and two years of supervisory/management experience.
Some states may allow unlicensed positions (TX).
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Two-year professional nursing experience in a senior living care setting.
- Two-years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
- Some states may allow for this to be an unlicensed position (WI, TX).
Responsibilities
- Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures reflecting current standards of nursing practice and regulations.
- Communicates policies to nursing staff and monitors compliance and results.
- Conducts resident assessments and suggests service levels for residents and families.
- Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care with adequate staffing and cleanliness.
