Job summary

Courtyards at Lake Granbury, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks an Assistant Wellness Director to oversee nursing services in an assisted living/memory care setting.

You will maintain policies, conduct resident assessments, and ensure high-quality care with appropriate staffing. This role requires nursing licensure, leadership experience, and compliance with state regulations; generous benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two-year professional nursing experience in a senior living care setting.
• Two-years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
• Some states may allow for this to be an unlicensed position (WI, TX, SC)

Responsibilities

• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures reflecting current standards of nursing practice and facility philosophy of care.
• Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff and monitors practices for effective implementation.
• Conducts resident assessments and suggests level of needed service packages to residents and families.
• Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care with adequate services and staff coverage, cleanliness, and maintenance of resident well-being.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and application of Key Clinical Quality Indicators.
• Reviews daily 24-hour reports to ensure timely responses to changes in condition, transfers, discharges, and medication management.
• Documents significant changes in condition of residents per agency policies and state regulations.

Education
