The Route Manager (RM) is responsible for the safe and efficient completion of all work for their assigned routes. The role involves approximately 30% office-related activities and 70% field activities, including record keeping, scheduling, billing, quality and safety checks, and fleet maintenance. The position requires significant driving and manual labor, including washing activities. The RM should have some computer training and the ability to learn company software. Skills in managing a dynamic environment with employees of varied skill levels are essential. Work hours are flexible, with limited weekend time off, and the RM must be reachable by phone during scheduled workdays.
