Assistant Warehouse Manager / Route Manager

Our services include commercial fleet washing, retail equipment refurbishing and sales, refrigeration, hood, coil, solar panel cleaning, and parking lot services.

Role Overview

The Route Manager (RM) is responsible for the safe and efficient completion of all work for their assigned routes. The role involves approximately 30% office-related activities and 70% field activities, including record keeping, scheduling, billing, quality and safety checks, and fleet maintenance. The position requires significant driving and manual labor, including washing activities. The RM should have some computer training and the ability to learn company software. Skills in managing a dynamic environment with employees of varied skill levels are essential. Work hours are flexible, with limited weekend time off, and the RM must be reachable by phone during scheduled workdays.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Quality Control: Dispatch crews, inspect work, ensure customer satisfaction, upload photos.
  2. Safety & Environmental Compliance: Lead and adhere to safety standards, asset management, and procedures.
  3. Operational Efficiency: Complete work efficiently, manage schedules, control labor costs, and ensure communication.
  4. Scheduling & Billing: Validate schedules weekly, reconcile daily work, and complete billing by Tuesday noon.
Regular Duties
  • Assist in HR activities like hiring and discipline.
  • Oversee route employees, including training and daily activities.
  • Respond to operational issues and emergencies.
  • Maintain vehicles and equipment.
  • Address customer complaints and special work requests.
  • Lead safety meetings and review employee performance.
