Job summary

McKinstry in Pasco, WA is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to supervise daily tool room and warehouse operations within the Logistics division. You will coordinate orders, supplier relations, inventory controls, and maintenance programs to ensure efficient fulfillment and asset integrity.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory warehouse experience, strong MS Office and ERP/asset software knowledge, and familiarity with tools and equipment used in mechanical contracting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory and warehouse management experience.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Visio; SharePoint knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the mechanical contracting industry; purchasing experience preferred.
• Understanding of ERP systems and asset management software preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control and data analysis for asset accounts.

Responsibilities

• Process order and return transactions to internal customers.
• Place and expedite orders from suppliers.
• Oversee the acquisition, utilization, cost control, and condition of company tools and equipment.
• Manage equipment repairs and maintenance programs and fleet maintenance.
• Coordinate timely pickups and deliveries of tooling, materials and major equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels to support shop and field production; monitor receiving/shipping activities.
• Perform year-end inventory processes, reporting and reconciliation.
• Navigate and update vendor databases and process ERP billing to customers.
