Job summary

McKinstry in Pasco, WA is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to supervise daily operations of the tool room and warehouse within the Logistics division. You will support order processing, inventory control, and vendor coordination to ensure efficient material flow.

The role requires three years of supervisory/warehouse management experience, high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with MS Office. Knowledge of ERP and asset management software is preferred, as are purchasing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of supervisory and warehouse management experience required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the mechanical contracting industry preferred.
• Purchasing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and returns to internal customers.
• Place and expedite orders with suppliers.
• Oversee acquisition, utilization, cost control, and condition of tools and equipment.
• Manage repairs, preventative maintenance, and fleet maintenance.
• Coordinate timely pick-ups and deliveries of tooling, materials, shop fabrication, and major equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels to support shop and field production.
• Monitor shipping/receiving and materials returns operations.
• Compile/analyze data for asset/inventory accounts and labor budgets.
• Assist with year-end inventory and reporting.
• Update purchase orders and vendor databases.
• Process ERP billing to customers.
• Train others on tools and rental assets.
