Job summary

Chattahoochee Technical College seeks an Assistant Vice President of Administrative Services to guide financial services, budgeting, and administrative operations in support of the Vice President’s goals.

The role oversees GAAP-compliant accounting, procurement, assets, student accounts, and internal controls, with governance on SACSCOC accreditation and state audits. Open until filled; expected start Sept 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of related work experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with five of the last seven years in governmental accounting/auditing.
• Master’s degree and supervisory experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight of complex duties within financial services to support VP goals.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing and administrative operations for the college.
• Direct GAAP and GAO compliant accounting programs and statutory requirements.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and monthly reviews for accurate statements.
• Ensure GAAP/GA Department of Audits compliance and SACSCOC accreditation standards.
• Oversee purchasing activities in compliance with procurement policies.
• Manage asset inventory including tagging and surplus disposal.
• Oversee student accounts, revenues, receivables, and financial aid allocations.
• Develop internal control structures and monitor staff productivity.
• Participate in strategic planning and serve on boards/committees.
• Assist VP and handle special projects and events.
