Job summary

Chattahoochee Technical College is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Accounting and Finance to provide direction and oversight of complex financial duties. This role supports the VP in achieving college financial goals through leadership of accounting, budgeting, and reporting functions.

The position requires a related bachelor’s degree and five years of experience, with preferred advanced degrees and supervisory capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Five (5) years of related work experience required.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in related field and supervisory experience.
• Experience in higher education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organizing the unit’s work to meet objectives.
• Assist in preparation and oversight of the financial budget, purchasing and administrative operations of the college.
• Direct through subordinate managers a comprehensive accounting program integrating GAAP, Governmental Accounting Standards, and state policies.
