Job summary

University of Houston seeks a senior leader for the UIT Enterprise Systems team. You will provide strategic direction for operations, financials, and human resources activities, guiding complex IT infrastructure improvements for campus and system-wide needs.

Leading ERP, application development, and cloud strategy, you will drive governance, metrics, and multi-million-dollar budgets, collaborating with executive leadership and stakeholders across the University System.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of directly job-related experience.
• Master's degree or equivalent formal training in a field related to the work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, establishes and reviews policies, goals and objectives for information systems planning and use.
• Directs the financial functions of the department and controls expenditures within budgeted amounts.
• Directs technology and administrative staff and provides guidance as needed.
• Directs design, procurement, development and implementation of campus-based and system-based information systems.
• Directs database management activities for campus and system information systems.
• Interfaces with business owners to coordinate accomplishments and drive initiatives.
