Description :
Provides leadership, strategic direction and guidance for the operations, financial and human resources activities of the UIT Enterprise Systems team. Provides leadership for the implementation, maintenance, enhancement and improvement of information technology infrastructure supporting UHS departments and business owners in fulfilling their missions. Pursuant to the State of Texas Executive Order No. GA-48, this position researches, works on, or has access to critical infrastructure and requires the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the University infrastructure. This position requires personnel be routinely reviewed to determine whether or not criminal history or continuous connections for the government or political apparatus of a foreign adversary might prevent the employee from being able to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure. Pursuant to the State of Texas Executive Order No. GA-48, this position researches, works on, or has access to critical infrastructure and requires the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the University infrastructure. MQ: Requires application of advanced principles, techniques and theory in a professional discipline or through general business management knowledge. Knowledge of this level is typically obtained through a directly job-related Master\'s degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
