The position may involve assignments to Clinton Township, Troy, or Inkster, Michigan. Competitive salary ~ $116,209.60 annually, with strong leadership, budgeting and CDL readiness expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or seven years of transportation management experience.
• Five years of supervisory experience in transportation and/or maintenance management.
• Equivalent education and experience may substitute minimum requirements.
• Knowledgeable in heavy-duty diesel/gasoline vehicle repair.
• Ability to obtain a Michigan CDL with proper endorsements within 30 days.
• Proficient in Windows-based MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates, directs, and supervises daily transit and maintenance activities to meet service requirements.
• Oversees vault house function for secure handling of fare revenues.
• Supervises administrative staff and training of dispatchers, road supervisors, and maintenance supervisors.
• Assists in scheduling and training of fixed route and connector bus operators.
• Counsels division employees and issues discipline as appropriate.
• Represents the Authority at grievance meetings and assists in budget development.
