Comfrt, an apparel brand focused on mental wellness, is seeking an Assistant Visual Store Manager for our American Dream location in New Jersey. You will lead the store's visual identity, translate our mission into tactile displays, and drive a welcoming in-store experience.

You will oversee training and performance of the team, partner with the Store Manager on sales strategies, and ensure flawless merchandising, operations, and brand standards during high-traffic periods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience.
• 2+ years managing Visual Merchandising in high-volume retail.
• Results‑Oriented: action‑driven and goal focused.
• Leadership: motivate others and build effective teams.
• Conflict Resolution: mediate and negotiate to resolve issues.
• Communication: strong oral and written skills.
• Holiday Availability: available to work Black Friday through year-end holidays.

Responsibilities

• Visual Execution: execute Visual Merchandising Planograms for launches.
• Brand Standards: flawless brand standards, decals, displays, mannequins, cleanliness.
• Strategic Feedback: use sales data to adjust visuals and product needs.
• Launch & Setup: support store setup and launch activities.
• Team Development: assist Store Manager with recruiting and training.
• Team Education: train on product knowledge for best customer experience.
• Brand Ambassadorship: represent the brand and coach the team.
• Culture: foster a positive, productive store environment.
• Daily Operations: assist opening and closing procedures.
• Inventory Management: oversee stock, shipments, replenishment, accuracy.
• Logistics: unpack inventory as needed.
