The Village of Glendale Heights Public Works Department is seeking an Assistant Village Engineer to perform complex engineering tasks across environmental, water, sewer, street and stormwater projects.
You will review private development plans for compliance, draft maps and exhibits, determine efficient solutions, and coordinate with the Village Engineer, consultants, and various agencies to support village programs and services.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex, technical and professional engineering work for environmental, water, sewer, street, stormwater management, and other Village projects and programs.
- Undertakes independent reviews of private project development plans and permits for compliance with codes, regulations, and standards.
- Drafts correspondence, prepares maps and other related exhibits, and coordinates with the Village Engineer, consulting engineers, and various agencies and the public.
