The Assistant Vice Chancellor of ServiceFirst Academic Professional Shared Services is central to advancing that vision by ensuring services are delivered efficiently, consistently, and with a strong focus on customer experience and measurable outcomes. This role serves as the executive leader accountable for end-to-end service delivery within the assigned ServiceFirst grouping (Academic/Professional or Health Sciences), including Human Resources, Finance & Procurement, Research Administration services, and representation for University Communication and Marketing (UCM) and Information Technology Services (ITS).
Working as a key member of the senior management team, this role will develop and implement strategic planning and change‑management frameworks that establish and advance continuous improvement. Responsibilities include achieving measurable improvements in cost efficiency, service quality, and operational performance while ensuring alignment with University priorities; owning a defined portfolio of schools and units; serving as the primary executive partner to Deans and administrative leadership; championing a service‑first culture; ensuring performance data transparency; driving process standardization; and aligning shared services with self‑service entities.
Relevant post‑baccalaureate degree: an undergraduate degree with 5–7 years of related professional experience may be substituted for the advanced degree.

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. The position will report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
