Job summary

Reyes Holdings is seeking a Transportation Manager in a 24/7, 365-day operations environment in Phoenix. You will lead Supervisors, Drivers, and Carriers to ensure goods reach Distribution Centers on time while developing the team, monitoring productivity, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will partner with manufacturing plants and DCs to optimize carrier performance, manage the transportation budget, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in transportation management or 8+ years with strong leadership experience.
• Experience leading supervisors, drivers, and carrier relationships; budget oversight and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supervisors, Drivers, and Carriers to ensure on-time delivery to Distribution Centers.
• Staff, train, evaluate, and develop Transportation team; monitor productivity and timekeeping.
• Manage driver schedules, hours, and regulatory compliance for delivery operations.
• Develop and manage transportation budget; review and approve invoices.
• Collaborate with plants and DCs; conduct carrier meetings and manage relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Schedule: Must be available to work any shift and schedule weekends, overnights, and holidays in a 24/7 operations.

Position responsibilities:

• The Transportation Manager leads Supervisors, Drivers, Common Carriers, and overall Transportation Operations ensuring that finished goods are delivered to the company’s Distribution Centers
• The Transportation Manager staffs, trains, evaluates, and develops team members by developing and leading improvement activities and engagement as well as monitors employee productivity and timekeeping
• This role will ensures adherence to delivery standards and regulatory requirements while managing drivers’ delivery schedules and hours worked
• The Transportation Manager develops and manages the transportation budget by reviewing and approving transportation invoices
• You will also work directly with manufacturing plants and distribution centers to manage carrier relationships and conduct carrier meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 plus years of related experience and 2 plus years of management experience or High School Diploma with 8 plus years of specific experience and 4 plus years of management experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree
