Job summary

pOpshelf is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to help maintain a clean, well-organized store and support the Store Team Leader in creating a customer-first culture. You will supervise staff, handle stocking, merchandising, and deposits, and ensure profitability while protecting assets.

The role requires strong cash-handling, communication, and leadership skills; previous retail supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a specialty retail environment preferred.
• Six months supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service and handles cashiering duties.
• Supports the Store Team Leader in creating a customer-first culture.
• Maintains clean, organized store and attractive merchandise displays.
• Performs stocking, checkout, and basic deposits as needed.
• Assists in scheduling and training of store staff.
• Follows company policies to ensure profitability and asset protection.
