Job summary

Mainstream Living in Des Moines, IA is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to provide direct support and help oversee DSP staff in a community-based setting. The role includes scheduling, training, and coordinating care, with emphasis on safety, professional conduct, and compliance with state regulations.

The ATL will work closely with Team Leaders and the Program Director to ensure high-quality services, monitor medications, and support members toward their goals, while maintaining ethical

• Combination of education and experience will be assessed for qualification.

Responsibilities

• Participate in interviewing, welcoming, onboarding and initial training of new employees as assigned.
• Primary responsibility for completion of staff work schedule and ensuring shifts are covered.
• Approve DSP timecards and monitor for accuracy and overtime reduction.
• Monitor sites for safety and maintenance needs and address delays or issues.
• Assist with oversight of DSP staff and coverage in absence of Team Leaders and Program Director.
• Communicate effectively with guardians, stakeholders and others.
