Soleil Tans is seeking a motivated Assistant Team Lead in a part-time leadership role in Matawan, NJ. You will drive sales, coach team members, and support daily operations to deliver premium guest experiences in a luxury sun spa.

The position offers a competitive hourly base with a clear path to higher earnings, performance-based bonuses, and benefits including paid time off and a gym/spa membership. Strong leadership and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of proven, numbers-driven success in sales, retail, or hospitality management.
• Open availability to dedicate a full 40 hours per week to the salon, including essential weekend and evening coverage.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach and develop staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales Floor by mastering the 5-step sales method and coaching Spa Consultants to hit peak performance.
• Assist with operations: staff scheduling, inventory management, supply orders, and daily financial goals.
• Maintain luxury cleanliness and equipment upkeep, ensuring safety standards.
• Act as brand ambassador, overseeing opening/closing, culture, and world-class guest experiences.
