Job summary

Harmony Science Academy — Georgetown, part of Harmony Public Schools, is seeking a paraeducator to support teachers and students in a PK-7 environment. Under direct supervision, you will assist with instructional activities, test administration, and specialized support for students with disabilities, contributing to an inclusive learning climate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Minimum of 48 college hours preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Texas Educational Aide Certification preferred or ability to acquire it.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with student academic goals by working with small groups or individuals.
• Support classroom management and behavioral plans to maintain a learning environment.
• Supervise students during breakfast, recess, lunch, dismissal, and events.
• Assist with ARD/IEP paperwork and data entry for special education reports.
• Help plan and implement differentiated instruction for individuals and groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
