Job summary

Harmony Science Academy Georgetown in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated Educational Aide to support teachers and students across PK-7. You will assist with small-group instruction, classroom management, and supervising students during daily activities.

The role includes contributing to ARD/IEP documentation and differentiating instruction for individual needs. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with preference for 48 college hours and Texas Educational Aide Certification or

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
Preference for 48 college hours completed.
Experience with children in an educational setting preferred.
Texas Educational Aide Certification preferred or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Assist teachers with student academic goals by working with small groups or individual students.
Assist with enforcing classroom management and behavioral plans to create a learning-friendly environment.
Supervise students during breakfast, recess, lunch, dismissal, events, and programs.
Assist with ARD/IEP paperwork and data entry for special education reports and documents.
Assist with planning and implementing differentiated instruction for individual students and groups.
May support multiple special education settings (Life Skills, Behavior, Resource, In-Class Support).
May be assigned to CPI certification class or equivalent for crisis procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
