The assistant teacher supports small-group instruction and behavior and academic strategies using SESI's CASE framework. Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds and implement the SESI model.
• Lead small group instruction and collaborate with the teacher on behavior and academics.
• Conduct formal and informal assessments and track student progress.
• Reinforce learning through one-on-one tutorials and targeted tasks.
• Assist the teacher with large group activities, grading, and accommodations as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff to address students’ needs and ensure safety.
