Job summary

Joyoflearningcenter is seeking passionate assistants to join our caring team. You will plan and lead age-appropriate activities that foster intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth, supporting children from infancy to school age.

You will help with daily routines and use our Classroom Management system to keep families informed about each child’s progress. Training is provided in-house to help you grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passionate about growth and development of children.
• Play-based curriculum experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routines: feeding, changing, and nap time.

What you bring as a Team Member:

As an Assistant Teacher, you will work hand-in-hand with a senior team member to plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that spark every child’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth. You play a key role in our students' journey from infancy to school age, using our provided curriculum to create a gentle, organized path toward kindergarten readiness. Your presence provides a sense of security and care throughout the day as you assist with essential routines like feeding, changing, and nap time. Additionally, you will serve as a vital link for our families and staff, maintaining warm, interactive communication through our Classroom Management system to ensure everyone stays connected to the child’s daily progress.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED;TCC:CDA.
• Previous 2 - 3 years of relevant experience.

Pay: $12.00 Hour based on Region, education and experience
