Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Rochester, MI is seeking an Assistant Toddler Teacher to support the Lead Toddler Teacher and foster a safe, nurturing, interactive environment that promotes High Scope learning.

This full-time onsite role offers hours Monday–Friday with a $15-$19/hour pay range based on certification or years of experience in early childhood education, plus benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CDA credential or pursuing degree in early childhood education preferred.
• Experience with toddlers in classroom or as a private nanny preferred.
• Reliable transportation and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Support age-appropriate learning using the High Scope curriculum.
• Collaborate with the team to implement daily activities for toddlers.

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Rochester, MI is looking for a caring, energetic Assistant Toddler Teacher to help inspire a lifelong love of learning. As an Assistant Toddler Teacher, you will work in collaboration with and in support of the Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and interactive environment that fosters age-appropriate learning utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

Position Detail

• Status: Regular, full-time
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:15am-4:15pm or 8:30am-5:30pm
• Pay range $15-$19/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in early childhood education)
• Location: Onsite, Rochester, Michigan
• Please note: This position does NOT qualify for US VISA sponsorship or relocation

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or be working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
• Prior experience with Toddlers in a classroom setting or as a private nanny
• Must have reliable transportation and be dependable
• Able to pass Background screening including fingerprinting
