Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Lake Orion, MI is seeking an Assistant Toddler Teacher who is caring and energetic to support the Lead Toddler Teacher. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and interactive classroom that fosters early learning using the High Scope curriculum.

This full-time onsite role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with shifts 8:15am-5:15pm or 8:30am-5:30pm, and a pay range of $15 to $19 per hour depending on certification or experience in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CDA credential or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Prior experience with Toddlers in a classroom setting or as a private nanny.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Able to pass Background screening including fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and interactive environment.
• Assist with implementing the High Scope curriculum to promote age-appropriate learning.
• Collaborate with team to foster a positive, educational environment for toddlers.

As an Assistant Toddler Teacher, you will work in collaboration with and in support of the Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and interactive environment that fosters age-appropriate learning utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

Position Detail

• Status: Regular, full-time
• Schedule: Monday -Friday, 8:15am-5:15pm or 8:30am-5:30pm
• Pay range $15-$19/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in early childhood education)
• Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, Michigan
• Please note: This position does NOT qualify for US VISA sponsorship or relocation

• Prefer a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or be working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Prior experience with Toddlers in a classroom setting or as a private nanny
