Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking energetic Assistant Teachers to support daily care and development for children in a Rochester, NY center. You will follow licensing guidelines, keep a fun, organized classroom, and engage with families to support learning.

The role offers comprehensive benefits, opportunities for training, and a Monday–Friday work week. Part- and full-time positions are available with varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Assistant Teachers:

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $18.13-$18.83 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
