Job summary

Bedrock Academy in Louisiana seeks a dedicated assistant to support the classroom team, helping to create a safe, engaging environment where children can learn and grow. You will assist with daily activities and curriculum implementation alongside the lead teacher, ensuring active supervision and compliance with required student–teacher ratios.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
• Previous experience with young children in childcare/preschool preferred.
• Basic understanding of classroom procedures; willingness to learn licensing requirements.
• Must meet state education, certification, licensing, and background check requirements; ongoing professional development.
• Effective communication and collaborative approach with children, families, and team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)required. Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

• Previousexperience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or similar setting preferred.

• Basic understanding of classroom procedures and willingness to learn state licensing and compliance requirements.

• Must meet all state-specific education, certification (including CPR/First Aid, whererequired), licensing, and regulatory requirements, including the ability to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development.

• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with children, families, and team members.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
