Job summary
ElitSwim Club in San Ramon, CA is seeking an Assistant Coach passionate about performance swimming and athlete development. The role supports Age Group practices, conducts daily pool sessions, and assists with dryland training; you will also handle 0–1.5 hours of administrative work and collaborate with the Head Coach to foster a supportive team culture.
Applicants should bring coaching experience or strong swimming background, plus CPR/AED and Lifeguard certifications, with USA Swimming
Qualifications
- Passion for swimming and coaching.
- Experience as a competitive swimmer or 2+ years of coaching experience (or equivalent).
- Strong communication & organizational skills.
- USA Swimming Coach Membership (or willingness to obtain before first meet).
- CPR/AED & Lifeguard Certification (or willingness to obtain before first meet).
Responsibilities
- Assist with Age Group practices (6 per week).
- Conduct 3-4 hours of in-person pool practice daily, including Saturday mornings & weekend meets.
- Assist with weekly dryland training.
- Perform 0-1.5 hours/day of administrative work (scheduling, meet enrollment, communication).
- Collaborate with the Head Coach to foster a supportive, inclusive team culture.
