Job summary

The Bay Club Company in Novato, CA is seeking an Assistant Swim Coach to lead and support the year-round USA swim team and stroke schools on deck. You will coach upper-level athletes, supervise staff, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment while helping members achieve their swimming goals.

You will design engaging workouts, provide feedback to athletes and parents, and ensure accurate record-keeping and program progression.

Qualifications

Current Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid - for adult, infant, toddlers.
Current USA Swim Coach Certified.
Experience teaching Swim Lessons for all ages.
At least two (2) years’ experience in personnel supervision, training, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

Provide coaching for year-round USA swim team and oversight to all the swim teams and stroke schools.
Present on deck during all team practices.
Coaches upper-level athletes and provides specific and corrective feedback to each athlete at each session.
Design and deliver effective, consistent, and rewarding sessions and workouts.
Integrate new swimmers into swim team and stroke school programs.
Provide feedback to help parents decide which program is best for their child and client retention.
