Job summary

Premier Aquatics Services LLC. is seeking a Summer Swim Coach to join our dynamic team for seasonal, part-time hours.

You will work with the head coach to develop engaging programs, lead practice sessions, and provide feedback to help swimmers improve while creating a fun and safe environment by the water. The role requires prior swim team experience, reliability, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.
• Prior experience swimming on a swim team is required.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and eager to learn.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification.
• Swimming proficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in water with proper stroke techniques.
• Clearly communicate techniques to students.
• Ensure practices follow the Head Swim Coach's plan.
• Set up and tear down swim meets and practices.
• Help assign swimmers to correct lanes during meets.
• Create a fun and inviting learning environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

TEAM MEMBERS ELIGIBLE FOR RAISE AFTER EVERY 60 SHIFTS

Compensation

$18.00-$22.00/hr

Seasonal/ part-time, hourly

Available Mon-Thu 3:55pm- 6:00pm

Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Summer Swim Coach and make a splash in the lives of young swimmers! As a vital member of our coaching staff, you'll work closely with our head coach to develop and implement engaging swim programs for students. From leading practice sessions to providing feedback and encouragement, you'll play a key role in helping swimmers improve their skills and reach their full potential. This seasonal position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable coaching experience, build leadership skills, and make a positive impact in the community. Essential Duties

• Assisting students in water with proper stroke techniques
• Communicate techniques to students clearly and concisely
• Ensure practices are running according to the Head Swim Coach's plan
• Set up and tear down swim meets and practices
• Help assign swimmers to the correct lanes during swim meets
• Creating a fun and inviting environment for students to learn in
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum

• Be able to work consistently, at minimum Mondays and Wednesdays 3:50p-5:30p
• Have prior experience swimming on a swim team
• Candidate must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and have a willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation
• Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours
• Ability to obtain and maintain aStarGuard EliteLifeguard Certification
• Swimming proficiency and feels comfortable in the water

Preferred

• Have prior swim coaching experience
• StarGuard EliteLifeguard Certification
• 1 year of lifeguard experience, or equivalent management experience
• Has additional consistently availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:50p-5:30p
