Job summary

Premier Aquatics Services LLC. is seeking part-time lifeguards to ensure patron safety at our pools. You will explain safety protocols, enforce pool rules, and assist with opening and closing procedures. This is an excellent first job for high school teens or college students seeking growth in water safety.

Morning availability is required (6:45 am - 12:15 pm) and prior lifeguard certification is preferred. Part-time, hourly, with opportunities for raises after every 60 shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and able to obtain a work permit if under 18.
• Be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week with weekend/holiday availability.
• Reliability and commitment to scheduled shifts.
• Friendly, outgoing, able to interact with the public.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to obtain and maintain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification.
• Swimming proficiency and comfort in water.

Responsibilities

• Oversee swimming activities and enforce safety policies.
• Advise swimmers on unsafe behavior and enforce pool rules.
• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid when needed.
• Work independently when required.
• Evaluate conditions for safety and activate emergency action plans.
• Complete daily opening/closing procedure checklists.
• Inspect pool facilities and water quality for safety.
• Assist with pool chemical tests and record results.
• Communicate effectively with patrons, coworkers, and management.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Supervises swimming activities at the pools and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed
• Advises swimmers of improper activities or dangers and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies
• Responds to emergencies and administers first aid when necessary
• Ability to work independently
• Maintain focus at a high level for extended periods of timeEvaluate conditions for safety and activate the emergency action plan if necessary
• Complete daily opening/closing procedure checklists
• Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable
• Assists with pool chemical tests and records results accordingly
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, co-workers, and management
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum

• Must be at least 16 years of age and be able to obtain a work permit if under the age of 18

• Have prior lifeguard experience
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish
