Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking an Assistant Supervisor for the Office of Information Technology (OIT) to lead the Student Experiential Learning program. You will develop training, create learning activities, and connect student employees with hands-on IT experience across the technology lifecycle.

Join OIT and help create student employment experiences that build technical skills, confidence, and preparation for future careers. You will lead OIT's Student Experiential Learning program, developing training, learning activities, and completion badges while connecting student employees with hands-on IT experience across the technology lifecycle. You will build strong relationships with OIT supervisors and help students recognize the skills they are gaining through their work. You will also supervise the Tech for Success program, which provides affordable university computers to students in need, overseeing the process from identifying and preparing equipment to pricing and connecting eligible students with technology. Additionally, you will assist with the supervision of student employees working in OIT warehouses supporting new equipment, construction, and surplus operations. This is an opportunity to combine IT knowledge, student mentoring, relationship-building, and a commitment to BYU's mission to make a meaningful difference in students' educational and professional development. Note: This is a part‑time position (28) hours per week.
Pay Grade: 49 Typical Starting Pay: $23.25 to $30.00
The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job‑related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work‑related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
